Who can live at St Mark’s?

St Mark’s accepts students studying full-time, Bachelor-level or higher, on-campus degrees at the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, and Flinders University.

  • Arrange for two referees (e.g. a teacher) to provide references (one academic, one character)
  • Submit your academic transcripts
  • Attend a 20-minute interview, in person or by Zoom

  • Applications for places at St Mark’s are competitive and merit based
  • Aspiring students must demonstrate the capability and commitment to succeed at university, be of good character, and have a history of engagement, leadership and service in their community

When should I apply?

  • It is strongly recommended that applicants apply by August for the following academic year, to avoid potential disappointment or being placed on a waitlist

Are there scholarships?

  • St Mark’s offers the largest financial assistance program of the residential colleges in Adelaide, providing over $500,000 in scholarships, prizes, bursaries and other financial assistance to its students each year. Around 50% of St Mark’s students receive some form of financial assistance each year
  • Scholarship applications for new students open in October and close in January. Application forms can be accessed via our website
