Southern NSW Local Health District are committed to providing excellence in rural healthcare. Our promise to our communities is to deliver safe, personalised, effective, and accessible care.

Our District is diverse and geographically spread across 7 Local Government Areas encompassing the Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, Goulburn Mulwaree, Queanbeyan-Palerang, Snowy Monaro, Upper Lachlan, and Yass Valley. We are home to five large Aboriginal nations of the Gundungurra, Ngunnawal, Ngambri, Ngarigo and Yuin peoples.

Our hospitals and community health centres provide a range of services including: emergency care, intensive care, coronary care, maternity, acute medical and surgical services, sub-acute, primary and community services and mental health services.
