Campion’s Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts (3-years full-time) and Diploma of Liberal Arts (1-year full-time) provide students with an integrated understanding of the events, ideas, personalities and works which have shaped Western culture.

Students undertake systematic study across five key disciplines – history, literature, philosophy, theology and science – with the option to obtain a Diploma of Classical Languages through the study of Classical Latin and Classical Greek. Intimate class sizes enable direct access to your professors and encourage deep conversation with your peers.

Course Information:

Campion College is Australia’s first and only liberal arts college. We offer a unique tertiary experience for both residential and day students, inspired by the great traditions of higher learning in the liberal arts going back to Plato’s Academy and drawing from the educational models of more recent liberal arts colleges in Europe and North America. Our students are provided with a broad education which encourages personal, intellectual and spiritual development before pursuing vocational specialisation.

Entry Programs:

Admission to this course is based on three elements:

  • The applicant’s academic background
  • A written statement
  • An interview with academic staff

Campion College accepts applicants from a range of academic backgrounds. Minimum educational requirements of applicants include:

  • Minimum one complete semester of a higher education course
  • Minimum one complete semester of study in a Certificate IV
  • Minimum ATAR of 70.00 (or IB equivalent)
  • Successful completion of a university bridging or enabling course
  • Successful completion of two years of the Angelicum Academy Great Books Program
  • Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) – combined average equivalent to an ATAR of 70.00 or higher in Written English and Multiple Choice components (currently a score of 140 in each component)

Explore our Campuses:

A private campus tour is the perfect opportunity to see our facilities and get a taste for college life. Tours generally take 30-60 minutes and are conducted by Campion’s Student Recruitment Manager. Where can I Study:

Campion College is located on a campus in Sydney’s west, at 8-14 Austin Woodbury Place, Toongabbie NSW 2146.

The campus comprises 10 acres of wooded land, surrounded by a residential estate but sufficiently detached and tranquil for the purpose of nurturing spiritual and intellectual life. The property is adjacent to public transport routes and major freeways with the historic city of Parramatta just 10 minutes away, offering an array of services as well as cultural and entertainment opportunities. Sydney CBD is approximately 30km from the college and the Blue Mountains are easily accessible via car or train.
