ACT Greens

The ACT Greens are a subset of the national Australian Greens political party. We’re a grassroots, progressive movement, with an extensive history within government and on the crossbench in the Legislative Assembly. Our current MLAs are Shane Rattenbury (leader), Jo Clay (deputy leader), Andrew Braddock, and Laura Nuttall. We see a strength in sitting in the sole balance of power on the crossbench in the 11th Assembly. Pushing the government to take action on the housing crisis, the climate crisis and the environment crisis, championing these key issues, holding the government to account, being a constructive, collaborative and progressive alternative option.
