International House, University of Queensland

International House provides fully catered accommodation for 240 undergraduate and post graduate students.  The single-occupant study/bedrooms are the largest on the UQ campus and are available to both Australian and overseas students. International House is a village.  Designed with Padoga’s in mind, our college is a vibrant educational habitat; a village within the University where learning, community and personal growth will intertwine. Our dining hall, study rooms, learning centre, common rooms, green spaces, social spaces, media room, music room, fully equipped gym and cultural facilities provide all you need right on your doorstep to connect, collaborate and most importantly flourish in your chosen field of study. A structure academic support program helps students build strong foundations for success by providing tailored guidance in study skills, language proficiency, time management, and well-being.  Through a holistic approach, it fosters resilience, adaptability, and a supportive learning community empowering students to reach their full potential and graduate as globally competitive worldmakers. The IH Careers program equips students with essential employability skills, industry insights, and networking opportunities to thrive in a competitive global market. Through targeted workshops and resources, we prepare graduates to navigate diverse global careers with confidence, adaptability, and a strong professional foundation.
