Bookings for the 2024 Canberra CareersXpo now Open
Welcome to our new and former
organisations, government departments and businesses. It is that
time of year when bookings open and you need to submit your booking
form. Last year was a very successful event with a humongous
variety of careers, courses and jobs on offer. Some of the students
were even able to sign up for jobs at several booths. The booths
looked fabulous which made the experience all the more fruitful for
the exhibitors as well as for the attendees.
This year all booths, both Standard and Deluxe will have a Header
Board printed with your Organisations Name (maximum 30
characters). Standard booths have one, Deluxe booths and
Standard corner booths have two.

Steps Prior to Booking
Mandatory fields are marked with an
asterisk. It is important you also read the Terms and Conditions
and the Privacy Policy before
proceeding.
Visit the Booths page
and that will show what booths have been reserved or booked and
those booths still available updated every 24 hours. Recommend
you enter two or three booth options in the Booth Numbers field in
Booth Preferences indicating where you would like to be located.
Please make sure you
have followed the steps below before submitting your booking form:
- Read the Exhibitors'
Package.
- Choose which of the two types of booth (Standard or
Deluxe) you might want to book.
- Decide on the extras i.e. tables, chairs,
tablecloths, LED Lighting and electrical cords for
devices such as screens and computers you would like to order
(these can be added or updated at any time).
- Decide on the location of your booth.
- Have a copy of your Public Liability Certificate of
Currency ready to upload.

Change of Time for Seminars
This year seminars will ONLY be
held during the Wednesday evening session from 4pm to 7pm. There is
No Fee
for your organisation to hold a seminar, but numbers are limited.
Please include your request for a seminar when completing the
booking form or send to bookings@careersxpo.com.au
Speaker
The speaker for the Wednesday evening session is the renowned Dr Brad Tucker,
an Astrophysicist/Cosmologist at the Research School of Astronomy
and Astrophysics, Mt Stromlo Observatory and the National Centre
for the Public Awareness of Science, at the Australian National
University. He will be talking about his galactic career
journey from 6pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Expo Hall - an online listing
When you book, you will be asked for your organisation's contact
details and social media links. It is entirely voluntary if you
wish to be part of our new and exciting virtual Expo Hall. Your entry in the Expo
Hall will be active for 12 months and can be updated with any
additional information at any time.
Important that visitors to our web site including both students and
parents have access to as much information as possible about your
organisation before and after attending the
CareersXpo. Students who can't make it to the Canberra
CareersXpo can use the Expo Hall as a resource to find more
in-depth information about the careers or study options your
organisation is offering. If you are an exhibitor with a booth
space at the Canberra CareersXpo, this online listing is FREE.
For an online listing without a physical booth, the fee for
a listing is $100.00 plus GST. A link to our online Exhibitor
Information form will be sent to you to complete and can include as
much, or as little information as you wish relating to your
organisation.
When completing the additional information fields what you see is what you
get. The information you have entered will appear on
your landing page which is accessed from the Exhibitor Expo Hall. The
Exhibitor Information form is an HTML document and the content can
include images, information, links or any content that relates to
your organisation to encourage students to view, download and/or
seek more information.
